Part of Libra to Pisces celebrities: a dated, sourced directory
Before you act on famous Libra to Pisces celebrities
Famous Libra to Pisces celebrity lists name real people by sun sign, and each entry shows what a birth date and a public biography can and cannot support.
Famous Libra to Pisces celebrities are sorted here by one input: a public birth date. Birth dates for public figures are a matter of record. That is enough to sort names from Libra through Pisces by sun sign, and enough to say what the sort does not cover.
What to take away
- A birth date gives a sun sign and almost nothing else. Houses and the rising degree need a time, and the time is usually missing.
- Astrologers grade birth data by provenance because so much of what circulates is unsourced. Documented records are the minority of celebrity entries.
- Libra through Pisces covers the second half of the zodiac. It runs from Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius to Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces.
- A sign list is a sample, not a finding. Twelve signs across any large group means about one person in twelve per sign.
- The first six signs are covered in the Aries list and the Taurus list.
The six signs, with names and birth dates
Dates below are the common cutoff, and they shift by a day or two between ephemeris tables. Where a birthday sits on a cusp, the two tables disagree and the sign is genuinely open.
| Sign | Common date range | Element and mode | Ruling planet |
|---|---|---|---|
| Libra | Sep 23 to Oct 22 | Air, cardinal | Venus |
| Scorpio | Oct 23 to Nov 21 | Water, fixed | Pluto, Mars in older texts |
| Sagittarius | Nov 22 to Dec 21 | Fire, mutable | Jupiter |
| Capricorn | Dec 22 to Jan 19 | Earth, cardinal | Saturn |
| Aquarius | Jan 20 to Feb 18 | Air, fixed | Saturn in older texts, Uranus in modern |
| Pisces | Feb 19 to Mar 20 | Water, mutable | Jupiter in older texts, Neptune in modern |

Every date above is checkable against a published biography. None of them is a birth time.
What a date buys, and what it does not
| Needs only a date | Also needs a time | Also needs a place |
|---|---|---|
| Sun sign | Rising sign and all twelve houses | Rising sign and houses |
| Positions of the slower planets | The Moon's exact position | Local time conversion |
| Season and mode | Which house each planet falls in |
The rising degree circles the zodiac in a day, about one sign every two hours. A morning chart and an evening chart therefore differ in more than detail. Every planet lands in a different part of the house structure, where the tradition places most of its material about a life.
Two people born the same day in the same city, eight hours apart, share a sun sign and share little else in the reading. A list that groups them is grouping on the field that varies least.
The grading system the field built for itself
Unsourced birth times circulate and get copied, so astrologers built a convention to rate provenance. The best-known scheme came from compilation work associated with Lois Rodden.
It sorts data by how it was obtained: a birth record, a family member's account, a figure the person gave in an interview, an unsourced claim in circulation, or a time reconstructed from life events.
Provenance was a real problem, because nobody builds a grading system for a problem they do not have. Most published celebrity data sits in the lower categories.
And a reconstructed time is not data: estimating a birth time from later events, then reading the chart to explain those events, is a closed loop. Some practitioners will not use it.
Why the list stops at names and dates
A sign description describes a symbol. It shows what the scheme links to a stretch of the ecliptic, based on element, mode and ruling planet.
Attaching that to a living person from a birth date turns a claim about a symbol into a claim about someone who never agreed to it and cannot answer it.
The structure of the six signs sets out what those descriptions are descriptions of. The tradition's own writing on chart construction treats the Sun as one placement among many.
A count also gets forgotten. Twelve signs across any large group means about one person in twelve per sign, so a list under one sign is a sample from an enormous pool, gathered by seeking people who fit. Nothing about it is surprising. The Cancer to Virgo notes reach the same weakness through astronomy.
What the data question is useful for
Reading astrological writing more carefully. When a practitioner discusses a historical chart, ask where the time came from. Good writing in this field says: it cites a record, or states that the time is from a family account, or says the chart is speculative and explains what was assumed.
That habit transfers to any claim built on a data point that is hard to obtain. Ask not whether the reasoning is good, but whether the input was ever verified.
Common questions
Why does the birth time matter so much?
The houses and the rising degree are computed from it, and they rotate through the whole circle in a day. Without a time, most of a chart cannot be placed.
Can an astrologer work without one?
Some work from the date alone and say so, using a chart drawn for a standard hour and treating house placements as unavailable. That is a stated limitation, not a workaround.
What is rectification?
Estimating an unknown birth time from events in a life. It is contested, and a chart produced that way cannot then count as independent evidence about those events.
Are official birth records always reliable?
They are the best category available and they still contain errors, including rounded times and times recorded after the fact. Better provenance is not perfect provenance.
